In our mind we imagine someone who is so motivated to succeed that they spend their whole life working. Of course, hard work is a key to succeeding as an entrepreneur. But it doesn't always appear that way in reality: working every waking minute of the day won't make you a good entrepreneur. This strategy may work on occasion, but the majority of people are unable to maintain such a strenuous pace for an extended period of time.
Overworking leads to exhaustion, which in turn leads to mistakes. Furthermore, how many people have the ability to do everything?
There are plenty of things we are average at, and so many things we are simply not good at. You must learn to work smarter rather than harder, and this is a mentality that will take some time to adapt to.
3. Hire people to help you with the things you're not good at.
Rule is simple: hire others to do the tasks you're not good at. This allows you to concentrate on the areas of your business where you add the most value, while others concentrate on the areas where they add the most value. It's a win-win situation.
